Our workshops are held in a peaceful setting in the beautiful town of Coarsegold, CA, just south of Yosemite National Park. If you are new to mindfulness, or the SoulCollage or Mandala process, please plan to attend one of the free introductory workshops listed below. Attending the free introduction will give you a taste of the experience and allow you to decide whether the process would be better for you inidividually or in a group setting. Groups are offered for adults and children, where noted. Mandala for Healing™ Mandalas have been utilized cross-culturally for spiritual and healing purposes over thousands of years. The mandala represents our inner sacred space. You can personally use mandalas to help move toward spiritual and emotional wholeness. Examples of mandalas used cross-culturally include: Medicine Wheels, Rose Windows, the Labyrinth, Tibetan Sand Mandalas, and the Celtic Cross, to name a few. I teach mandalas to help people tap into spiritual and emotional healing in a safe, supportive environment. No art experience is necessary. Sierra SoulCollage®SoulCollage is a process through which your intuition guides the creation of cards using gathered images, to express aspects of your personality that speak directly to, and from, your inmost being. Each card has deep meaning and may be helpful for exploring life’s questions. Cards can be created in groups or individually, and when paired with journaling, can deepen your self-understanding. Mindfulness for Well-being - MBSRMindfulness is paying attention to our experience, from moment to moment, without judging the experience or trying to change it. This practice helps cultivate an awareness of our experience, allowing us to accept what is. Our resistance to what is, causes us much suffering. I have been teaching MBSR and mind-body stress management classes since 2005 in healthcare and educational settings, as well as in wellness workshops. Mind-body stress management classes can be helpful for people with physical and emotional challenges, and anyone who wants to deepen their self-understanding. There are no MBSR group sessions set for 2008 at this time, but this may change. If you would like a one day or eight week workshop designed for your group, please Email me.
